Budi Norbert Mbua is a serial entrepreneur and an inspirational speaker popularly known as ‘Budi Motivates’. He serves as Chief Executive Officer at Next Digital Ventures Ltd, a Value Added Services and Mobile Solutions company currently operating in 4 African Countries with headquarters in Douala, Cameroon. Budi also serves as Director at the Budi Motivates Academy, an inspirational platform that aims at empowering individuals to reinvent themselves and reach for higher heights.

A graduate of Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Buea, Budi served as Media Strategist in Advertising Agencies like McCann Douala and Acmar Media Group Central and West Africa before diving into entrepreneurship. In 2014, he created Diamond Visions Intelligence Ltd (DVI) a business consultancy that targeted foreign companies looking to set up in Cameroon. DVI picked up clients in Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Plastic filming and Value Added Services from Nigeria, Ghana, UK and India. 2 years later Budi closed the doors on DVI and created Next Digital Ventures which signed VAS partnerships with Mtn, Orange and other telecoms in Africa. Next Digital Ventures is currently looking to break into the Financial Technology market.

As Director of the Budi Motivates Academy, he occasionally organizes the WakeUp Motivational Conference with serves about 100 participants with tips on how to defeat mediocrity and achieve your their potential. The Academy also organizes The Chill&Talk Interactive Sessions wherein 30 or less participants share ideas on how to overcome challenges and break barriers. Budi also does personal coaching sessions and has had over 200 one-on-one motivational sessions with students, artists, entrepreneurs and employees. He has picked up many awards and tokens of recognition across the nation.
